Successfully passed the B-level enterprise evaluation for heavy pollution weather performance
On November 5th, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hubei Province released the "Announcement on the List of the First Batch of Key Industries with Grade A, Grade B Performance and Leading Enterprises in Heavy Pollution Weather in Hubei Province in 2024". After self-evaluation, municipal initial review, provincial review, and on-site verification, Huangshi Dongbei Casting Co., Ltd. (Panyu Industrial Park Factory) passed the evaluation of Grade B Enterprises in Key Industries with Heavy Pollution Weather Performance in Hubei Province.
The performance grading of heavy pollution weather is a rating of the environmental performance level of enterprises. After being rated as a B-level enterprise, it can effectively reduce or even avoid the impact of production stoppage and restriction during the yellow and orange warning periods of heavy pollution weather on the company, providing protection for the normal production and operation of the company during the heavy pollution weather warning period, and laying a solid foundation for achieving high-quality development.
In order to win this environmental performance battle, the group company has launched environmental governance improvement and rating declaration work since February 2024. Leaders at all levels of the group and the company attach great importance to it, personally deploy, clarify goals, strengthen measures, mobilize the company to start from the foundation of environmental protection according to evaluation standards, adopt various environmental governance measures, and achieve the on-site environmental protection deep governance standard. Finally, it passed the expert on-site audit. The foundry company (Panyu Industrial Park factory area) was the first to receive the B-level performance classification for heavy pollution weather, and only two foundry industries in Huangshi City have received this honor.
